Bio
Dr. Don plays a pleasing mix of classic, acoustic, 70’s rock and blues covers on a Fender Stratacoustic acoustic-electric with occasional blues-harmonica thrown in for a little spice. With the harmonica neck-brace and a tasteful little background from his Zoom drum machine he is the proverbial “one-man-band. He loves to take requests, especially if it’s Eagles, Creedence, James Taylor, or Beatles. He usually brings along a list of over 350 songs to request from so you’re sure to hear something you like. He has been known to even play some country although he says, “It’s not my favorite." But he really loves the blues. He became familiar to the Statesboro area as a regular dinner-hour performer at "Turtles" until it closed but now he plays anywhere they’re looking for some familiar sounds from the 70’s. But these days you'll find him at Jaman, Millhouse, Dos, or down the road at Crabby Joes in Metter. Other places... you'll just have to check out "Connect."
