Description: The Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes spring with three romantic selections from Beethoven, Bruch and Schumann to be presented within the lovely surroundings of the historic Lucas Theatre for the Arts on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. Following the lively and fun King Stephen Overture by Beethoven, Savannah audiences will have the chance to witness soloist Ulf Hoelscher, a true German violin maestro, performing Bruch’s much loved Violin Concerto. The concert will conclude with Schumann’s Symphony No. 1, the “Spring” symphony. Ticket holders will also have the opportunity to attend the educational pre-concert talk facilitated by the Savannah Friends of Music commencing at 6:30 p.m. Spring Awakening concert tickets are available for purchase at www.savannahphilharmonic.o rg or by calling the box office at 912.525.5050. Ticket prices are $16–$55 and $65 for limited premium seating.
