| Description: |
Interested in Bulloch County history? Love libraries? Then, join Roger Allen for a discussion of the history of libraries in Bulloch County on Saturday, April 17th, as part of National Library Week. This free event is sponsored by the Friends of Henderson Library and the Statesboro Regional Library.
At 10 am, we are meeting at the Henderson Library Amphitheatre, located on the east side of the library (the side closest to the gazebo). A limited number of chairs will be available, and you are encouraged to bring a blanket or other seating for this natural space. In case of inclement weather, we will meet in Room 1300 located on the first floor of the library.
Light refreshments will be served. For more information, e-mail library@georgiasouthern.ed u or call 912-478-5115.
National Library Week is April 11th – 17th and Georgia Library Day is March 10th. Take time during these dates to thank your local librarian for all she or he does to promote literacy and education in our community. |
