Description: The Friends of Henderson Library and Dean Bede Mitchell invite you to the second annual Dean’s Tailgate. Come enjoy some great food from Chef Jason Scarborough and fellow True Blue Eagles fans as we cheer Georgia Southern to a victory against Navy! On Saturday, September 11th, we are meeting at the beautiful Holiday Inn (455 Commerce Dr, Statesboro) at 3 pm in anticipation for the 3:30 kick-off. We’ll have screens to watch the game in the pool area and also inside for those who prefer the shade. Tickets are $30 and proceeds support the purchase of library resources for research within the graduate programs of kinesiology and sports management. Your ticket includes a special buffet, prepared by Chef Jason Scarborough, and two drink tickets from a selection of beers/wine/soft drinks. A cash bar will also be available. Tailgate tickets are on sale from August 11th through September 7th. If you can’t attend the event, you can still participate in the fun and support the library by purchasing raffle tickets which are $5 each and available at the library (Room 3213), by completing the form at http://tinyurl.com/fohltic kets or calling 912-478-5115 . The raffle includes various Georgia Southern spirit items, including a signed football, two passes to the President’s Skybox and a limited edition print of the renovated Zach S. Henderson Library by Frank Fortune. Winners of the raffle do not need to be present at the raffle to claim their prize. We hope to see you on the 11th and Go Eagles!
